Disability Support Worker
The changes and challenges currently taking place within the Community and Health Services sectors in Ireland have created employment opportunities for those with relevant updated skills and knowledge.
This one year Disability Support Worker course is designed to prepare students for careers in administration and selected areas within the Community and Health Services Executive sectors.
The course will be of interest to school leavers, adult learners and people from other countries who wish to gain employment in the community and healthcare areas in Ireland or within the European Union.

- Manual & Person Handling Training certification by the Irish Wheelchair Association
Career Opportunities
This course provides graduates with the knowledge and recognised skills that will deliver employment opportunities in community care health centres, disability agencies, hospitals for older people and psychiatric hospitals.
Further Studies
Students may also progress to participating Higher Education Institutions (HEI's) through the FETAC Higher Education Links Scheme.
