Buildings Maintenance
This part time Buildings Maintenance course aims to equip the participants with the basic skills for general maintenance.
The course takes place each Monday or Thursday from 10am to 1pm The Thursday class is a more advanced group and some previous knowledge is essential.
Content
- Hands on Practical Work
- Painting & Decorating - paint finishes, rag rolling, spraying, etc.
- Tiling
- Basic electricity
- Plumbing
Certification
- FETAC (Further Education & Training Awards Council) Level 4 Component Certificate - Home Repairs and Maintenance
Further Progression
- Learners may combine these modules to achieve a FETAC Certificate Level 4 Award.
