  • FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) Level 5 Certificate in Childcare (DCHSC)
  • Certificate in Basic First Aid
  • Sign Language – Certification by the Irish Sign Language Assocation

 

Career Opportunities

Graduates from this course have found employment in the following areas: Crèches, Playschools, Residential Homes, Day Care Centres and Classroom Assistants

 

Further Studies

Students may also progress to participating Higher Education Institutions (HEI's) through the FETAC Higher Education Links Scheme.
