Killester College takes pride in offering its students the opportunity to acquire professional qualifications.

This is a practical, hands-on two year Data Networking (CISCO) course that offers its students the opportunity to acquire professional qualifications and industry skills. The Course includes an extensive e-Learning program, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)Discovery designed by Cisco Systems to teach students networking skills. Students receive comprehensive preparation for the CCNA exam.

  • CCNA CISCO Certified Network Associate
    Safe Pass

 

Career Opportunities

Surveys have shown serious and increasing shortages of Networking personnel in all developed countries, including Ireland. This ensures continuing job opportunities in the ICT (Information & Communications Technology) industry.

 

Further Studies

Students who successfully complete their studies can enter year 2 of B.Sc. degree programme in computing in Institute of Technology Blanchardstown. Students may also progress to participating Higher Education Institutions (HEI's) through the FETAC Higher Education Links Scheme.
