New Horizons in Education Stage 2
This New Horizons in Education Stage 2 course facilitates adults to return to education in a supportive flexible environment. It provides learns with the opportunity to achieve a FETAC (Further Education & Training Council Award) Level 4 award. It is designed to provide access to learners to other qualifications in the National Framework of Qualifications.
The emphasis is on active participation in the learning process. Self esteem building and the acquisition of transferrable skills are an integral part of the course. The course will take place each Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 2pm.

- FETAC Level 4
Further Progression
- Learners may progress to full-time Level 5 courses in Killester College of Further Education.
- Learners may combine six of the above modules (including core modules) with one FETAC Level 5 module or four of the above modules with two FETAC Level 5 modules to achieve a full Level 4 award.
- Students may progress to FETAC Level 5 Award.
